Musket VIPs Receive Royal Treatment, Tour Texas Children’s Hospital
Musket and Trillium's annual Drive for a Child (DFAC) golf tournament has become an event that employees and participants look forward to every spring. This month, the sixth annual event raised more than $290,000 for Texas Children's Hospital, the local Children's Miracle Network Hospital. Since 2013, DFAC has raised more than $1.39 million for Texas Children's.

VIP
Before anyone set foot at Topgolf in Houston for the fundraiser, top sponsors were treated to a VIP reception at Musket and Trillium's new office in Houston. Attendees got an up-close look at the space that opened late last year featuring state-of-the-art decor and original artwork by renowned artist Yuri Elvin. Attendees were also treated to dinner, cocktails and additional networking opportunities.
FOR THE KIDS
To remind everyone the dollars raised through DFAC is all for the kids, participants had the opportunity to tour a brand-new part of Texas Children's before it opened to the public. The hospital's new Legacy Tower boasts 640,000-square-feet of space which houses new and expanded operating rooms, a new pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) spanning four floors, and a transitional PICU. Attendees saw part of the new facility as crews put the finishing touches on, including hanging pictures and finishing kid-friendly murals. The added space gives Texas Children's the ability to provide the best care for more kids.
Thank you to all event sponsors who make it possible for us to make miracles happen for local kids!
