Love’s Travel Stops Opens in Hanson, Kentucky
OKLAHOMA CITY, May 24, 2018 – Love’s Travel Stops (Love’s) is now serving Customers in Hanson, Kentucky, thanks to the opening of its latest travel stop location. The store, located at 325 Veterans Drive (Intersection of Interstate 69 and State Route 260), opened its doors this morning and brings 53 new jobs to Hopkins County.
“We’re happy to be serving Customers in another location in Kentucky,” said Tom Love, founder and executive chairman of Love’s. “Hanson is the perfect location thanks to its proximity to busy Interstate 69 traffic. We hope to bring the Love’s level of service to more Customers in the Hanson area.”
The 11,000 square-foot facility is open 24/7 and features a Hardee’s restaurant for Customers to enjoy. The new store also offers brand name snacks, gourmet coffee, fresh-to-go options, electronics, soft-drinks and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of 63 truck parking spots, five showers and laundry facilities. The Hanson location brings Love’s to a total of 11 locations in Kentucky.
“As a city, we’re very excited,” said Mickey DeMoss, mayor of Hanson. “We look forward to the opening of Love’s in Hanson and a long association between these two entities.”
In celebration of the grand opening, Love’s will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 31 in conjunction with the Hopkins County Regional Chamber. During the ceremony, Love’s will present a $2,000 donation to a local nonprofit.
