Love’s Reopens New Mexico Store, Brings Jobs and Truck Parking

OKLAHOMA CITY, June 7, 2018 - Love's Travel Stops (Love's) is now serving Customers again in Milan, New Mexico, thanks to the re-opening of a store this morning. The store, located at 257 Horizon Blvd (Interstate 40, Exit 79), re-opened today and brings 35 jobs back to Milan. Among the many new additions to the store are 66 truck parking spaces that are back on the busy Interstate. The store has also added increased restaurant seating, a Godfather's Pizza, increased cooler space and a new roller grill.

"We're happy to provide even more parking and services for our Customers who stop at our Milan location," said Tom Love, executive chairman and founder of Love's. "Milan has always been a convenient stop for many drivers and now we're prepared to serve even more of them."

The more than 8,000 square-foot facility features a Chester's, Godfather's Pizza and Subway restaurant for Customers to enjoy. The store also offers name-brand snacks, gourmet coffee, fresh-to-go options, electronics and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of 66 truck parking spots, five showers, and laundry facilities.

"The Loves Travel Center is a big part of the Village of Milan," said Paul Pena, village manager of Milan. "It has been sorely missed by the community during the reconstruction of the beautiful new store. Love's is one of our larger contributors to the economic base of the Village of Milan, as well as an essential part of our community. We are very excited about the Grand Opening!"

In celebration of the grand opening, Love's will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony in conjunction with the local chamber of commerce. During the ceremony, Love's will present a $2,000 donation to Grants High School.
