Love’s Brings Truck Parking and 40 Jobs to North Carolina

OKLAHOMA CITY, June 7, 2018 - Love's Travel Stops (Love's) is now serving Customers in Statesville, North Carolina, as a new location opens its doors this morning. The store, located at 229 Mocksville Highway (Interstate 40, Exit 154), opened this morning and brings 39 new jobs to Iredell County.

"We're excited to bring more of the Love's Customer service we're known for to another town in North Carolina," said Tom Love, executive chairman and founder of Love's. "The new location in Statesville will allow us to serve even more Customers in the convenient Charlotte metro-area."

The more than 8,000 square-foot facility offers Chester's and McDonald's restaurants for Customers to enjoy. The store also features brand-name snacks, gourmet coffee, fresh-to-go options, fountain drinks, electronics and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of 92 truck parking spots, five showers and a Love's Truck Tire Care center. The location in Statesville brings Love's up to a total of eight locations in the state of North Carolina.

In honor of the grand opening, Love's will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony in conjunction with the local chamber of commerce. During the ceremony, Love's will donate $2,000 to a local nonprofit.
