Love’s Travel Stops Brings 94 New Jobs and Truck Parking to Florida
OKLAHOMA CITY, June 7, 2018 - Love's Travel Stops (Love's) is now serving Customers in Lake City, Florida, thanks to the opening of a new store this morning. The store, located at 13700 S U.S. Highway 441 (I-75, Exit 441), opened its doors today and brings 94 new jobs to Columbia County.
"We're excited to bring our clean places, friendly faces promise to Ellisville," said Tom Love, executive chairman and founder of Love's. "Interstate 75 is a popular route for drivers throughout Florida and we're happy to provide a convenient stop for them along the way.
The more than 10,000 square-foot facility features a Hardee's restaurant for Customers to enjoy. The store also features brand-name snacks, gourmet coffee, fresh-to-go options, fountain drinks, electronics and more. Professional drivers can take advantage of 99 truck parking spots, seven showers, laundry facilities and a Love's Truck Tire Care center.
"The opening of the new Love's store means a lot to the community of Ellisville," said Everett Phillips, Columbia County Commissioner. "It's going to bring in a lot of new traffic and revenue to our local community; it will be a great addition to the area."
In celebration of the grand opening, Love's will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony in conjunction with the Lake City Chamber of Commerce at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 26. During the ceremony, Love's will present a $2,000 donation to a local nonprofit.
